portraits – 22/09/2020
On September 22, 2020 by Sophie MartynToday I took some portraits in high key lighting and low key lighting. I also learnt the meaning behind the terms. Above is a photo of me taken in High-key.
High-key lighting is a style of lighting for photography that uses a bright white back drop or wall and has a few big lights pointing on the subject
Low-key lighting is a style of lighting for photography. It is a necessary element in creating a chiaroscuro effect/ a dark image with a small amount of light on the subjects face.
