History of Music Portrait Photography tom oldham – 03/11/2020

I learnt about a new music photographer called Tom Oldham.

The information I learnt about him was –

He won the sony world photography award for 2020. Music and portrait photographer.  2020 new work exhibiting in the royal photographic society international photography exhibition 162, in Bristol February. Tom studied at plymouth college of art on a photography course in 1992. He is based in london. He won the 2018 BJP portrait of Britain award with his son. In 2018 he exhibited Eldmodur which talks about the beauty and brutalness of Iceland. In 2017 he had an exhibition at the White Space gallery in London. In 2016 he stayed up for 40 hours and shot a project an hour starting from midnight. In 2011 he entered an exhibition called ‘our house’. In 2002 he entered an exhibition called ‘portraits’ in France.

I have decided to use Tom as an inspiration for the task I have to do. Which is to take a photo in the style of a photographer that we looked at. We have to pick one photo to use so I want to copy these photos –
