On December 1, 2020 by Sophie Martyn[1] Martin is one of the UK’s leading photographers specialising in landscape photography and wildlife images of the English Lake District and Scotland. He has worked as a professional photographer since 2005 and is well known for his images and articles, which appear widely both on-line and in books, magazines, calendars and the UK photography press.
Martin Lawrence took a photo of the lake district which I used as inspiration for the photo I took at Radford Lake. I wanted to capture the reflection of the trees in the still water. I made sure that I got down to knee levels and tried to capture as much of the trees as I could. Martin’s work inspired me to try to make sure that where the reflection starts to make sure that it is in the middle third. I made sure that the reflection was in the middle. I see that Martin has captured some mist on the water at the lake district but I did it in the middle of a clear day. Some of the other work Martin took I would like to take photos inspired by because they capture so much beauty. I do think that the first photo looks like its been copied and flipped. the water looks so still that it might Make the photo looked like that.
