Jimmy Nelson is one of the artists who takes photos of different tribes and cultures. I have decided to look at his work because of the way he takes his portrait photos. He strongly believes that artists must always be part of a conversation, and share provocative ideas. His idea is that aesthetic and empowerment for a better world. He hopes that with his work indigenous people get a better sense of their uniqueness and importance in the world we live in. I like the way he takes his portrait photos of indigenous people. He captures their culture in the photos. He takes the photos quite close to the model but he makes sure to capture the models uniqueness in their eyes and outfits.
