online journal – 10/11/2020

Today we looked on the college library. They have a range of different online journals which I will be looking at for inspiration to my zine deigns. I picked out two pages from a zine which I really like. I want to make my zine look professional and sophisticated but also simple. I don’t want to have too much writing I would like it to be full pictures. I am happy we looked at this today because I wasn’t sure how wanted to layout my zine and now I know how I want my zine to look. The author is called Kate Simpson. She has written quite a few different zines.

I like the way she has laid out the zine and the text. However I don’t want to lay out the text in the style of her zine because I don’t want loads of text on the zine pages.
